Frequently asked questions

Is this the rate my bank will use?

Not necessarily. The displayed rate is a reference rate and excludes bank spreads, card fees, cash margins and transfer charges.

Is my amount sent to the rate provider?

No. Only the selected source and target currency codes are requested. The amount is multiplied locally in your browser.

Can I use my own exchange rate?

Yes. Enter a positive manual rate to calculate with a bank, card, invoice or other quoted rate instead of the reference rate.
